A transition to clean energy is an investment to our future.
Aldilla Rakhiemah is the Project Manager of the ASEAN Climate Change and Energy Project (ACCEPT), a flagship initiative supporting ASEAN’s low-carbon and net-zero ambitions. In her role, she leads strategic research and regional cooperation efforts that advance the energy-climate nexus across Southeast Asia.
Aldilla is a committed advocate for a just and inclusive energy transition, with a particular focus on integrating gender equality into energy policy and planning. Her work bridges technical expertise and policy engagement, spanning areas such as energy transition governance, regional energy-climate alignment, and emerging technologies, including carbon capture, utilisation, and storage (CCUS).
With over a decade of experience in the energy sector, she brings both public and private sector insights, having previously worked at Pertamina, Indonesia’s state-owned energy company. At ACE, she is also actively involved in shaping ASEAN’s long-term energy planning frameworks, such as the ASEAN Plan of Action for Energy Cooperation (APAEC), and supports capacity-building initiatives with government agencies, multilateral organisations, and civil society.
Aldilla holds a Master of Science in Geography from the University of Zurich, Switzerland, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Airlangga University, Indonesia. Her professional trajectory reflects a deep commitment to advancing sustainable, inclusive, and climate-resilient energy development in the ASEAN region.
