ASEAN Energy Outlook Forum 2022

Description

The ASEAN Energy Outlook Forum (AEOF) is the new ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE)’s event on regional energy outlook held at the beginning of each year, to present and discuss the potential trends that will impact the energy landscape for that particular year and beyond.

The first edition will be held online on 11 January 2022 under the theme “Between COP26 and RCEP, ASEAN Energy Transition Amidst the Recovery”. AEOF 2022 will present the insight from 2021 and examine the potential dynamics in 2022 that will shape the energy development at the regional and national level; the challenge in translating the commitment at COP26, the opportunity from RCEP in supporting the region to build back better and greener amidst the recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. A survey on the ASEAN Energy Agenda in 2022 will be presented as the centre of the discussion.
