🌏 ARNECC Paper Talks – NDC Series #2

This week, we will be joined by Dr Josua Hari Mulya of Bandung Law School to discuss his paper “Under the Shadows of Business as Usual: Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) for Climate Action”, which looks at climate change as an environmental law issue.

We will explore how Southeast Asian countries—particularly the Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand—translate international climate commitments into national laws and policies. The discussion will examine mitigation, adaptation, and procedural obligations, and how the “Business as Usual” policy approach shape their NDCs and climate goals.
