On the 6th episode, ARNECC Paper Talks will discuss a recent article on Solar energy and regional coordination as a feasible alternative to large hydropower in Southeast Asia, which published at Nature Communications, volume 12. This paper demonstrates that Cambodia, Lao PDR, and Thailand could achieve emission reduction target while at the same time ensure the security of power supply with less hydropower than currently planned.
